What do we do about evil?

I am not going to write about school shootings.

The question of evil, however, seems to be pervasive since last Friday's events. "What do we do about evil?"

The answer is quite simple, you know. We become saints. And we urge everyone around us to do the same, and support them in their saintly endeavors.

  1. Being Catholic and a good Samaritan means not only praying to encourage sainthood in oneself and others but leads to good works/real actions eg to actually take a stand in public policy terms and counter-(sick)cultural by banning guns except for farmers and few occupations that need it.
    Living in cities and not the prairies of 300 years ago; need to adjust.
